Lamorna Class welcomes our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils as they move into the exciting middle years of primary school. In this class, children build confidence and independence, take on more challenging learning, and develop the skills they need for the upper juniors. Our curriculum encourages curiosity, creativity and resilience, helping each child to grow academically and personally as they take on new responsibilities and experiences.

The class is named after Lamorna, a beautiful valley and cove on the Penwith peninsula, just south of Penzance. Lamorna is known for its dramatic granite cliffs, lush woodland, and sparkling clear waters, making it a truly inspiring part of West Cornwall.
Lamorna Cove itself sits at the end of a picturesque valley, with a small quay, rugged coastline, and a long connection to local fishing and quarrying.
Just as Lamorna has inspired artists, writers and visitors for generations, our Lamorna Class encourages children to explore, imagine, create and develop a love of learning that will stay with them as they continue through school.
